Two ways to copy your competitors the “smart” way

Two ways to copy your competitors the “smart” way

Sometimes your competitors are far better than you, but that doesn’t mean you should copy their work, there is another “loophole” you can go through to be even better than them, it does involve copying in some way, but not the “cruel” way where you’ll just end up being called a copycat! You’ll need to establish a way to get ahead of the game, but starting from point one, can leave you even more behind. So we come to the point of actually “copying” our competitors, but how far is too far? Consider this a game, which it generally is if you think about it, so what we’re doing is playing a cheating game with no penalties…that is if you play it right…

So here are two fabulous ways that are proven to get you in the lead, follow them and see what happens!

1-Draft behind your competitors: Drafting is a naughty way to get noticed by the media, it involves you finding all sites that feature you competitors and finding a way to get featured too. It’s actually not as hard as it sounds!

2-Improve what’s already there: Well like I mentioned earlier, we’re not going to start from point one here, we’re going to take what THEY have and add “unique values” to it. So basically we are making something better than their work using their work. Sounds mean doesn’t it? But here’s a secret, Steve jobs was guilty of this trick, and look where that got him!

So basically after listing the strong and weak points of your competitors’ product, then “fixing” their weak points in yours while adding a few unique bits and bobs here and there, you should have no problem making it to number one.

Let’s play a game…

The game is simple; you want get ahead of your competitors by copying them. But don’t worry it’s not as bad as it sounds! You are basically going to copy your competitors the “smart way” and hence, lead the game! …That is if you play it right…

So with no further ado, let’s jot down the steps!
